Eight times the size of Sydney Harbour, Jervis Bay is a favourite stop off for Humpback and Southern Right Whales right through the winter months.
Jervis Bay is a marine park and has some of the best diving in Australia. It is renowned for its excellent visibility and has active seal and fairy penguin colonies on Bowen Island.
Dolphin watch cruises operate throughout the year from the village of Huskisson.
The icon of the area is Hyams Beach, according to the Guinness Book of Records is the whitest sand in the world and great to spend a day on.
Booderee National Park has gentle terrain and well-signed trails providing easy walking conditions – from a few hundred metres to several kilometres through a variety of scenery and wildlife habitat. The Botanical Gardens established in the national park in 1952 are worth seeing.
Swim at Green Patch or snorkel at Murray’s Beach, sheltered by Bowen Island to create a large natural aquarium.
Across the road from Palm Beach Caravan Park is St Georges Basin. It’s known for one of the best windsurfing areas in the state of NSW. You can also enjoy fishing, watersports of all kinds or take in the stunning sunsets at Paradise Beach. Hire one of our Kayaks & explore the Basin!
St Georges Basin Country Club is a short distance away which has regular entertainment where you can play Bowls, Tennis, Golf or relax in the newly renovated surrounds of the club.
The Basin is host to many regular fishing competitions.
Hyams beach is 10 minutes drive, Booderee National Park 15 minutes drive and access to the Basin is a 2 minute walk across the road and down the stairs from our Park.

Our local St Georges Basin Country Club is 2 minutes drive but offers a free Courtesy bus to the Park for pick up & return.

The local IGA in Sanctuary Point is a 15 minute walk or a quick drive for last minute needs.
